Many unauthenticated news and rumours are again floating today… The 50cr which Speakasia had deposited to SC registrar has been kept with them for 91 days…This means that this amount will be with them till 91 days and the interest shall be given to SAOL for 91 days which is great and positive news for our company.
Note: Today after calculating the complete pending tax CBDT told SAOL to deposit approx 115cr as pending tax liability in SC and SAOL agreed upon it…To deposit the amount CBDT needs to give an affidavit to SC within 14 days time and SAOL will deposit as soon as the Affidavit comes to SC registrar and will deposit the said amount…Nothing to worry here as all these are legal formalities which are taking place for Business Restart and not for Payments….
Regarding Payments today there was a meeting in New Delhi and as everyone knows it was a closed door meeting the discussion happened regarding the Exit Option…Payouts…and even restart of the business at the earliest. The meeting update is again positive and yet to come…The meeting took place between company’s Management and Lahoti ji and some respected petitioners. Till now i did not get any updates regarding the meeting…will share with all once i get the confirmation

It’s not legaly permitted to share news regarding mediation meet of 23rd feb, 2012 because AISPA is responsible platform so they are too bound to follow the instructions…. but as a panelist we can share some info on this issue…..!!!!
It is reliably learnt that Justice Lahoti ji has taken note of EOW ‘s intermittent absence from the mediation process and will adversely report the same to the Hon’ble SC. One further step towards exit payment has been taken yesterday and within four to five days we will see the public outcome of company’s efforts.
